New Zealand Web Design for The Old Oak Hotel.

The Old Oak Hotel is a boutique hotel, situated in the quaint seaside town of Mangonui, New Zealand. Built in 1861, it’s a real treat to have the opportunity to spend some time in this historic building.

Under new ownership, the team were eager to refresh their New Zealand web design to make sure they were sending the right message, to the right people.

Custom WordPress Web Design.

We helped The Old Oak Hotel create a custom New Zealand web design as timeless as their building. The design concepts used clean lines with a modern feel, but without losing the importance of this historical site. A custom WordPress design was chosen for The Old Oak Hotel, to allow for ease of use and future growth. The custom design, using a WordPress builder, allows us to steer clear of unknown theme providers and plugin developers. The result is a clean WordPress site, that loads quickly and offers an intuitive user journey.

Mobile friendly New Zealand web design.

We know that a mobile friendly web design is no longer a nice to have – The Old Oak Hotel receive over 50% of their visitors via mobile devices. Responsive websites are essential when working towards improved customer experiences and increased visibility online, so this was a key deliverable.

Increase hotel visibility online.

While leading accommodation websites tend to dominate Google search results in this industry, there was still room for SEO improvement. We helped The Old Oak Hotel populate each individual page on their website, to increase their visibility online. This included brand searches, local SEO and national SEO.
